So two Thursdays ago, two of my sweet nieces were in town and I decided to take advantage of the beautiful blossoms around town and take some pictures of the girls. The cherry blossoms were at their peak and were glorious.
Aren’t they sweet?
The very next day, I had a session with another set of sweet sisters. We arrived at the same location and were shocked to find almost ALL the blossoms were GONE! The very.next.day.! Darn that thunderstorm! Fortunately, we had plenty going for us: a beautiful day, and a late in the evening start time for the session. That allows for sundrenched images. Oh yeah, and a family that rocks. Can’t underestimate chill, helpful parents when photographing little ones! We searched for a tree that still had some petals clinging to it and the dad graciously held up baby girl amongst the branches so we could get some springyness (a new word!) into our session. Here’s a little preview:
Yea, spring! I hope you all were able to get outside this weekend and enjoy the weather. I’m psyched about the fact that it’s supposed to be in the 60s most of this week. Ahhhh….
